Big news has come out for the fans waiting for Avatar: Fire and Ash. Director James Cameron has introduced a new Na’vi villain in this third film – Varang, who is the leader of the Ash Clan. This character is being played by Game of Thrones fame Oona Chaplin. The film is going to be released in theaters worldwide on December 19, 2025. Its teaser was earlier shown in select theaters along with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Now it has been officially released online for all viewers.

The first official trailer of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ has now been released, in which a new threat has emerged in the world of Pandora. This trailer shows for the first time a new Na’vi villain, Va rang, played by famous Game of Thrones actress Oona Chaplin.
Varang is the leader of a tribe called the Ash People, and her style looks very strong and serious in the trailer. This time, Pandora is seen in a very different and tense environment, where every relationship and trust is put to the test.
According to director James Cameron, “Varang can go to any extent for her people, even if that decision seems wrong from the outside.”
